My sister in law works in a daycare center where they celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday. So i did her hair somewhat like Cindy Lou’s. O made a pony tail in the center of her head leaving access hair around the pony tail. I then placed a clear Solo brand cup on the center pony tail and fed it through the top. I took the eccess hair and pulled it up around the cup and secured it with a hair tie. I finaaly braides two braids on the bottome back part of her head and curled the left over peices. Its not exact but it looks cool.

I have dressed up as Cindy many times around Christmas time. I do my hair myself, which I suppose takes some talent in the field of Cindy’s hair. What I do now that my hair is long is I seperate my hair into four sections and braid each one. After I tie off each braid seperately I gather them at the top of my head and tie a single hair bow around the base of all four together. Then where the braids end I connect them again leaving the loose hair free. I spray tons of hair spray on these ends and push them through the top hair tie. This makes it into a heart shape. Once it is dry I place a tiny stick through the top to give balance. I place a bunch of random bobbly pins at the base for more support and them spray it again for sturdyness. I finish it i=off with red and green ribbons at the base and a dum-dum in the top. I spray with glitter hair spray for a snowy look. It usually gets amazing remarks. :]

Well cindy lou whos hair is just plain coool. the way i copy it is i make a circle part in the top of my head and yes it can be done. Then i braid the bottom and take bows and curl the ends. Then i take the remaining hair and take hair wax and put it alll through it. Then i take a small bowl and mold my hair around the bow and it works great…. then i take a couple of pipe cleaners and mold them around my hair then take a bow tie it were the bowl is then curl the ends of and it works great i use
    Hair glue
    hair spray (two cans)
    Red ribbon
    Pipe cleaners

I have this really cool looking wig, and it’s a farah faucett one, but it’s brown. I always brush out the curls in the front, though. I plan on using it to make Cindy Lou Who hair for school, just for fun on the last week before winter break. I think that all of you guys’ comments really helped a bunch, and the pictures did, too!

I dressed my daughter Maranne up for Story Book Day at school and the way we did her hair was; First we did a circle part in the center of the head (she has very long hair) we cut the bottom off a Dr. Pepper 20 oz. soda and placed it in the center of her head….then pulled the hair up around the bottle and used a small scruchie to keep it around the top, then we braided two section on the side and kept pieces out all around the top on fron tan dback and rolled it in curlers totally covering the curler so you cannot see it….we then curled the pieces on top of the bottle to make the curles on top….lots of paul mitchell hair glue and sebastian super freeze kept it in place you can see a picture on my facebook …Melissa Bryant, meemee7669@yahoo.com look under peanut’s pics

Here’s a simple trick: If you or ‘who’ ever has long hair you can do this: Get a water bottle, flip your hair over, put it in the center, and gather your hair around it. Then you take your hair tie and tie it where the neck of the bottle is. Then style your hair using pipe cleaner or floral wire.

If you dont have long hair, here’s an alternative: Cut the water bottle in half, using the top, then repeat.

    VERY SIMPLE!!

I was able to recreate a very nice Cindy Lou Who hairstyle relatively easy. I just used one of those clear plastic cups that comes with most large laundry detergent containers. Worked perfectly! I made a large circle part of hair then pushed the cup into it. I then gathered the hair up and secured it with a twister just above where the cup was turned upside down. Finished off by parting the rest of the hair in the back in two equal sections and braided each. Secured each end with a bobby pin. Looked sooo cute!
